Our Story
The Boorugu family’s experience in crafting designer jewelry dates back to over 150 years. Established in
the year 1862, Our reputation in jewelry business is entirely built on strong values and magical designs.
The Founder, Late Boorugu Mahadev, made ‘Quality’ as habit in business and the same value has been
imbibed by the successive 6 Generations of Entrepreneurs. Late Boorugu Mahadev was also conferred
the title of “Rao Saheb” by the Viceroy of India (British Government) on 9th June 1938, for his
impeccable community service.
Managing Partners.
Mr. Nagesh Boorugu
Born on August 11, 1975, Mr. Nagesh Boorugu is a seasoned professional in the jewellery industry, with over three decades of experience since 1992. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is a Government-Approved Jewellery Valuer appointed by the Income Tax Department of India.
He is also a Graduate in Diamonds from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Carlsbad, California, recognized globally for excellence in gemological education.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Boorugu has an accomplished sporting background. He was a National Champion in Optimist Class Yachting in 1987 and 1988, and proudly represented India in ‘Sail the Gulf’ 1993. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys tennis, table tennis, and swimming.
Mr. Boorugu has also actively contributed to community and leadership initiatives. He served as President of Junior Chamber International, Secunderabad in 2010 and is a Qualified Zone-Level Trainer. He currently serves as a Managing Committee Member at Secunderabad Club (2023–2025) and is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Lake District Moinabad (RI-3150).
Mrs. Sarika Boorugu
Born on April 7, 1978, Mrs. Sarika Boorugu is a graduate with a B.Com (Hons.) degree and the visionary force behind a distinguished jewellery house. Guided by a deep-rooted passion for art, creativity, and timeless design, she has transformed her lifelong vision into a celebrated brand that reflects elegance, individuality, and enduring beauty.
Every creation under her guidance is thoughtfully crafted, blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics to offer clients jewellery that marks life’s most treasured moments. Her boutique stands as a reflection of refined taste and artistic excellence—where each piece tells a story and celebrates uniqueness.
As envisioned, the business has grown leaps and bounds over the decades under the able leadership of Mr. Boorugu Muralidhar Rao.

- National Champion in Optimist Class Yachting in the year 1987 and 1988, represented India in “SAIL THE GULF 1993”. Loves to play Tennis, Table Tennis and likes to swim.
